Toyota retains leadership in global industrial trucks market


Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO), the parent company of Toyota Material Handling India (TMHIN) has once again been confirmed as the world's largest supplier of industrial trucks, according to the latest rankings published by influential German magazine dhf-intralogistik.

According to dhf-intralogistik, for the period 2014-15, TICO (with its brands - Toyota, Raymond, CESAB and BT) had global sales of € 6.6 Billion and thus accounted for 22.06% of the world market.

With a strong focus on innovation and superior products, TICO has been enjoying the status of being the global market leader for industrial trucks for 15 years consecutive years.

In India, TMHIN distributes the Toyota, BT and Raymond brand of counterbalanced forklifts, warehousing equipment and towing tractors. Since its incorporation in 2010, TMHIN has established itself as a prominent player in the Indian material handling market by offering technologically advanced products and dependable after sales service including supply of genuine spare parts.
